I had an email a couple of weeks back from a lovely business coach, Jacky Ling of The Business Growth Landscaper, who I know from networking, telling me all about her new website and all she had left to do were the Podcast interviews with specialists…
… then she asked me the dreaded (but flattering!) question… “I was wondering if you would be one of my specialists?”
My immediate response in my head was “Nooooo! I can’t do that!” but I found myself emailing her back saying how thrilled I was that she’d emailed me and I’d love to! I do like to push myself out of my comfort zone fairly regularly but I must admit I was feeling rather nervous…
Anyway, we got together on the phone earlier this week and we had a great chat! We spoke about how I got started in business, if there was anything I would have done differently or wish I’d know at the beginning, plus some top tips for small business owners and for working with a VA.
I’m so pleased I did it now as it was great to catch up with Jacky and it was good fun too!
